- Call the City and request a work order be submitted to the utility department to have them come check your meter to see if water is passing through it when all water usage at the property is stopped.
- Call a plumber of choice to have them check the water service for leaks.
- The citizen themselves can check to see if there is a leak by verifying all water usage for their property is stopped, then go to the water meter and verify that the dial indicator is not spinning/moving. If the dial indicator is moving or spinning then that would indicate a leak. See the following YouTube video that is a great resource for citizens that may want to learn how to check for leaks themselves. https://youtu.be/GnqNB7ZuTLU?si=HezxZjMAR8_2H6eP
